About Us
Dr. Katherine M. Tun, Pediatrician
In private practice since 2000, most recently with Dr. Minnie Vance in the Drs. Vance and Tun pediatric medical practice on McCallie Avenue in Chattanooga, TN for seven years. She was born and raised near Chicago, Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, a Medical Doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, IL, and she completed her Pediatric Residency training at University of Tennessee School of Medicine --Chattanooga Unit. She is a Fellow and Board Certified through the American Board of Pediatrics. She has been a member of the American Academy Pediatrics since 1996 and a member of the national organization, Christian Community Health Fellowship since 1992. She and her husband have three children.
Dr. Luis Sanabria, Pediatrician
Was born and raised in Bucaramanga, Colombia, where he was raised with his two sisters. He graduated from medical school in 1998 in Colombia and worked there as a doctor for the next three years. He was then accepted into the pediatric residency program at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. After successful completion of the program, he has worked in the surrounding area since 2005, including being director of a pediatric urgent care center for 5 years. He is Board Certified through the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Sanabria and his wife have two children.

Our Medical Practice
Beginning December 19th, 2011, we are slated to be the first pediatric office in Ooltewah, TN.We have electronic medical records, an in-house CLIA-certified lab, and access to radiological imaging in cooperation with Chattanooga Imaging of Ooltewah and Memorial Imaging Center located just minutes away.
Dr. Tun and Dr. Sanabria round on newborns born at Women’s East Hospital, and at Park Ridge East Hospital since May 17th, 2014. Any of Drs. Tun and Sanabria’s patients (including newborns) admitted to the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger Baroness campus in Downtown Chattanooga (about 30-40 minutes drive away from Front Porch Pediatrics) have been arranged to be seen by their excellent Hospitalist (in-house pediatrician-staffed) Service so that their patients can receive timely and comprehensive care while admitted there.
We provide the full spectrum of pediatric healthcare (well, sick, preventative, and urgent care) from birth to college.Procedures offered include immunizations, laboratory services, hearing and vision testing, breathing treatments, minor splinting, wart removal, ear irrigations, laceration repair, removal of foreign bodies, and abscess drainage.
